Born in Shanghai, she has developed a deep emotional connection with the ever-changing city she has experienced since childhood, during China’s period of reform and opening. This personal relationship with the urban environment has given rise to an artistic practice focused on the city as a living, evolving, and layered organism. She began her academic journey at Central Saint Martins in London, where she completed the Art & Design Foundation course and later earned a degree in Textile Design. She then explored the relationship between art, culture, and management with an MBA from the École d’Art et de Culture in Paris. Her artistic research moves between macro and micro analyses of urban dynamics: she examines the transformation of energy, spatial barriers, and forms of isolation that emerge in urban social contexts, questioning the possibilities for sustainable development in the cities of the future. Through installations, textile materials, and interdisciplinary practices, she invites the viewer to reflect on their role within the urban fabric, making visible the tensions and potential that define contemporary life in metropolitan environments.
