Born in Beijing in 1983, he is one of the most internationally renowned contemporary Chinese sculptors. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sculpture from the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University. He is currently Director of the Chinese Sculpture Society, a member of the CPPCC of Chaoyang District, and a cultural promotion ambassador for youth in the UPanda-Art World Tour program. His sculptural research is deeply inspired by symbolic figures from Chinese tradition—warriors, scholars, and sages—archetypes of moral strength, resilience, and nobility. Made in stainless steel or bronze, his works—often life-size or monumental—stand out for their dynamic balance between stillness and motion, physical intensity and inner calm. The use of industrial materials and contemporary techniques allows him to create a dialogue between past and present, roots and future. Each sculpture is a reflection on discipline, harmony, and inner strength, representing an ethical and cultural vision of society. His work embodies ancient values reinterpreted in a universal key, serving as a bridge between historical heritage and global identity. He lives and works in Beijing.
